I had to know... So I slipped the valor units alongside their cash unit buddies based on total points, and gave them a cash value. Then, to see how much cash a valor point is worth...

jungle stalker ----- $14,250------$570 per valor point
seahawk --------- $35,000------$700 " "
combat boat ----- $111,173-----$1,482 " "
avenger---------- $112,200-----$1,122 " "
strike eagle ------ $307,639-----$2,051 " "
GIGN -- --------- $1,567,155----$7,836 " "
stealth frigate --- $1,570,949----$5,713 " "
m270 mlrs ------- $1,800,000----$6,000 " "
super hornet ---- $2,615,470----$7,473 " "

Brilliant Info, chuck ✋

I always thought jungle stalker was the most worth valor unit and now you helped me clear my mind.

Not so good when you think of the dollar value you lose since they seem to be some of the first units that you lose in a fight:(

Hey wait a minute, chuck.
How did you calculate exactly? Because I might discuss with you about some data on this list.

First and foremost, each attack point is more expensive than defense point, I don't know the ratio, could you find a way to work out that, chuck?

Meanwhile, stronger the unit become, the cost for each atk or def point raise up is increasing and its increasing speed is accelerating . *
The acceleration rate jumps up and down sometime, but overall still accelerate faster with a pretty unsteady faster rate(which may caused by unit type, like tanks, vehicles or trucks, as far as I know tank's cost has a low acceleration. So tank is the most economical way to grow your army density)
That's what I found from the list of ground units. 🌀_🌀 I don't know how to explain, English is not my 1st language, ****.

According to the same rule, I start doubting some of the values on your list, sry chuck
1⃣GIGN *22/19
I did a unit cost acceleration chart.*
I used scout11, sniper 44(make it cheaper than 10K since I balanced from 53) , heavy gunner 88( make it more expensive since balanced from 79), SEAL 1010 and rocket soldier 15.5 15.5. So I balanced GIGN as 21 21.
And got the very blur estimation that GIGN won't worth more than 700K cash

2⃣M270 MLRS. *17/37
Just by observation, that 27/26 Abrams M1 tank cost 1.4 million.
M270 compare to him is -10 atk and +11 def, as we know that atk worth more. So M270 is around the same price with M1 tank, or could be even cheaper than 1.4 million.

You guys may never be able to put a value on these things. Value is not just a $$ figure. For instance part of the value is their "strong against" traits ( supposedly a .25 diminishing value against its match in battle). Also their loss rates are never going to be equal to compare. Even if they all have the same low or very low rating, there appears to be a numerical value assigned to each unit. That is why people lose sea units less than ground, air or infantry even if they have the same or lower critical rate value. And yes there is data to prove it, but then you have to get into the programing of the game and that removes part of the challenge if you knew all the details. The data/information is in the threads out there, you just have to look for it. FYI all loot items appear to have a "low" critical rating. The only contstant is change and we know the devs plan on changing how the rival list works soon. Anything can change at a later date.

I made this up a couple weeks ago, but looking at it now I def didn't figure the GIGN correctly. Oops. Shawn's estimate of $700,000 is reasonable. The M1 Abrams has a total of 53 points, MLRS 54, and the SCUD 58. Between $1.4 and $2.6, I chose $1.8.

Since the idea was just to get a basic idea since there really isn't much importance in the "cash value", I'm not really gonna have a serious technical discussion on these stats. If we were discussing the attack algorithm sure thing. But not here.

I simply took the unit's total strength, and moved it in it's place within the same class, and gave it a price based on the unit's on either side.

I know that.

Yeah I know.

It was a "FWIW" thread rememeber??? There is no real point in getting exact numbers. Just some cool numbers to think about a bit. Just to get an idea. That's all. Simple. Everybody chill.

No offense. I'm sure you know, but not everybody does. (you been around for a while in the forums, I was just lurking without posting LOL) Just pointing out other things to keep in mind for "value" FWIW to the masses. I'm about as chilled as I can get on this subject. If you were in my area I would buy you a beer for your efforts. I salute you for these cool numbers to think about.

Alas I'm actually on the northern VA side of DC. I little far. Probably 3-4 hours depending on where. Baltimore is a good 2 hour drive from me.

But you are a man after my own heart. No swiller lite if you know what I mean. A good thick stout perfect with a thick steak. LOL

I've spent some time in that area as well, from Lancaster down to Northern VA. Don't miss the traffic though. :)

Good info, even if it's ballpark figures. It confirms what I've been thinking all along about the Seahawk and Jungle Stalker.
