499 maffia not worth it anymore

Hi all,

There was another thread where everybody complained about people having 499 maffia and didnt like that very much.
I was 1 of them who had 499 aswell and for me the reason was that i normally have no problem with being attacked/ robbed and loose, but for me since the thug fight goals and hardcore goals update i only got hammered by people who where 30-40 lvl higher and i lost 2 mil on explosives in 2 days.
Since a few days i have over 500 maffia and the atacks are not so heavy anymore.

So i think maybe it is better to have now over 500 because people only attack you now for having 499 members and they want to beat you up for that lol.

Someone else noticed this ?

Yeah, been wavering between 499 & 500. I'm thinking it doesn't matter too much anymore.
Hard to tell if being attacked for having 499 or otherwise. Feeding frenzy is over.

I see a 499 mob pretty much the same way Anubis sees it. I don't care about getting attacked or robbed because at the end of the day, it happens no matter what. But when you get people who will not leave you alone just because they don't like you, why contribute towards their progress with the thug life goals? Attack me all you want, but if you walk away with 10 Ws that's (at least) 30 minutes worth of stamina that didn't earn you any progress towards completing a goal that pays 500 RP.

Im all the way with dudeman on this, Personal rivals can beat on me all they like but they not earning TL's out of it. If Payam wasn't around (whose 40-50 levels above me) I'd be on 500+. The sad thing is all his gold means (R) is worthless to him, but hes still not getting it off me.

That coward comment is somewhat presumptuous, don't you think? I mean, if that's not your style then all you can do is assume and guess at the reasons other players have for using that tactic.

If you have a 500 mob and you get someone attacking you and winning 50 times a day, that's an entire thug life goal right there depending where you are with those. People in that situation are basically paying 500 RP for the privilege of getting beaten on all day, and the person attacking them thinks, "this sucker is paying me 500 RP every day!".

Yes, it sucks for people looking to complete the fight goals, but you can still only assume (at best) that people with 499 mobs employ that tactic because they are cowards.

Something that is actually cowardly is people dropping under 490 because they are afraid of all the hating on the 499 mobs!

I have yet to hear from a 499er that says they dont rob the 500+ crowd all day. Since they appear to want to take take take, maybe the game shouldn't give give give. Lock the pussies out, I say.

And there is nobody that attacks a 499er out of spite that wouldn't do the same to a 490er. Now were just playing semantics games.

I expected nothing when started this thread, i could go on in the other one but i dont think people look much in that thread anymore thats why i started a new one.
I just want to say i think that for me it is now better to go above 500 then stay on 499 i think the most people have already did their thug life and hardcore goals.
Now they only beat you up because you have 499 maffia instead of 500, so for me it is now better to stay above, and i wanted to know if someone else have the same experience.
I also lost 2,4 mil on def explosives in a few days so thats ok by now.

I never buy any explosives for defense ever again !
