What the??? Can someone explain why I lost this attack?

Hey folks. New guy here. I've been playing MW for a few months and lately I've been noticing a few things when attacking.

My stats are:

# of alliance members: 1392
# of units: 1386
Alliance attack: 5626
Alliance defense: 6945
Level 53

The person I attacked stats were:

# of alliance members: 320
# of units: 1101
Alliance attack: 4140
Alliance defense: 5130
Level 53

I attacked this player 6 times and lost 6 times including some high dollar units. Am I missing something here? I've never had this problem before and was curious what others thought I might be doing wrong.

Since his alliance defense and your alliance attack are relatively close, it may be that he has a pretty high defense skill point value (which doesn't not show up anywhere that you can see). That's a factor that funzio has made clear has an impact on the outcome of attacks but have also stated that they will not reveal exactly how it works or by how much it affects the outcome.

It was your 5600 attacking his 5100. That's not a lot of advantage. Then factor his defensive skill and your offensive skill???

That was a very typical outcome.
