I'm lvl 128 with 36000 def (about 30747 true mafia defense) how can a punk lvl 131 with 17346 att. rob me for thousands? What am I missing here? I know he's above me level wise but does that matter?

Skill point allocation is something to consider if you can't see any other reason why your "weaker" rival was able to easily defeat your mafia.

My take:

The majority of your defense is mafia defense. Defense for robberies only use some magic % of your mafia + building defense. Hence someone with 17K attack can rob you, but would never be able to win a fight against you.

He looks like he is just high enough to rob you and probably has more points in attack than you have in defence, with those stats though I would expect he would fail a lot and only actually manage to rob you 20% or so of the time but if he really wants to he can do it, I once spent 12 stamina to rob one building from a L200 but it was worth it since I made 150k from the building, he may have done the same

It's got me beat but I guess skills are different maybe he had more attack skill or your defence skill is low?

Thanks for the advice guys. I always figured that all your mafia defense was always used and just a % of bld defense. Guess I need to build more.
