Too many allies

Just wondering, is it ok to have lots of allies ie. more than 1000 allies
I saw a guy with 2500 allies.

Having more doesnt hurt, but currently the max allies you can use is 500. So there is no need for any more than that. Eventually 1000 will probably be useable, but unless they extend the level cap, that will be the most you'll ever need
