Other than the size of the map itself, is there a limit to how big your base can be?

I doubt there is a limit. Already have a base at 37 total squares. Just did another expansion for $3,100,000. The expansion times were capped a while back at 48 hours. I believe every additional expansion would be at least $200,000 more.

I've seen people who have already expanded to the entire map but they only use a fraction of the space with buildings. Due to time costs they had to spend gold to do this and on upgrades. Last person I saw had like 800k income in expanded buildings too. My most limiting factor now is the time cost of expansions and upgrades.

The entire map? Why would anyone do that. 6x6 with 6 territories in the water is more than enough to fit every building in the game for free players. If youve got gold buildings 6x7 would do it and 7x7 if youre care about decorations. The entire map is like 20x20 or something.

You could use some to make a nice maze using the trees I suppose, pink one in middle obviously! But then until it's sorted nobody but you would see it.
