I had absolutely no drops today (Tuesday). So all the rest of you are not allowed to farm any on Wednesday so I have at least a small chance to get ONE of them.

Just went 6 for 12 at the shooting game booth at 6 pm. I just used all hits at once because I kept getting them every other one. Up to about 120 after 2 1/2 weeks.

I am totally baffled at the drop probability. I have never done better than 2 out of 12; I read results like this and just shake my head.....

I got 19 in past 3 or 4 days I'm level 44 now, started 4 days ago farming, started game a week ago, still reading for advice on here. Also odds will not change on different days or times, conditional probability.

You started the game a week ago and are already level 44. Your already looting M4A1s too. Damn what are your stats like at level 44? I think you might be leveling up to fast.

I just got my first one for the day, each day I get less and less.

I think the drop rate seems to reduce the more you get, the first 50 came so fast (only had 410 energy and would always get a least one often two and sometimes 3 out of the 3 taps) then it slowed down and got slower and slower since 200 if I get 2 in a day (38 times a day since i level every day) it is a good day.

Also I started after everyone started claiming the drop rate was slashed

The M4A1 gods must hate me. I think I have just over 150 of them in 7 or 8 weeks. 40 in the first 4 days, and a steady decline ever since.

Absolute zilch for me today as well. I usually get 7-10 a day from the shooting game but today nudda. I am happy others have the same issues cause I thought I was going mad!

So, Tramp are you referencing the car aquisition in the junkyard for the flattened cars? My drop rate sucks on that one. I've gotten one in like the last 3 days. Same for the Hudson in Little Italy on the armored truck. Got one right off the bat and then nada for the last 20 times or so. Same on the cars but still having decent success with the M4's.

Yes, same here, and only several more to go. The game data was updated yesterday, drop rates are the same, but then again, there are other factors involved here.

The true proven way that is completely factual to farm them successfully is to wait for the NPC's to gather around the Shooting range then go for it. They only gather when M$'s are going to drop.

My M4 A1 acquisition rate is approximately 4.5% while the game data claims 2%, assuming it is unchanged since allhaildiscordia's post.

The drop change is 14%, at the shooting range, it has been the same for a very long time, this comes out to close to a 1:7 chance.

I'm 0-30 at least, its been upwards of 3 days of nothing from boardwalk.
I gave up too.

On to farming bigger and better things. Guess my 208 M4's will have to do.

I don't know what I'm doing differently than all of you, but I got 14 M4s total yesterday, bringing me up to 450. It was a combination of the Boardwalk and the Pier, but I think I only got 4 or 5 from the Pier....

I'm on such a bad streak i am considering taking a break from farming M4a1's for a few days. I would like to know if i should increase my level (currently level 1 in Boardwalk) that way i make a few extra bucks each tome i dont get an M4A1 and what is the percentage increase each level. If its considerable i may just go to level 5 Boardwalk by the end of next week.

What I previously said was in error. I could have sworn the Junkyard drop rate was 0.02 but I look at the sheet for the fist time in a while and see that it's 0.05. In that case, my return is exactly as predicted.

I've seen the M4A1 on a few people's inventories (usually mass quantity), but I've never seen it drop as a loot item, and I'm unable to buy it. I take it from this thread that it randomly drops when you complete certain jobs on the maps? Blue crushed car in the junkyard and the shooting gallery at the boardwalk? Just keep repeating these jobs until I find the gun?

Are there any other good items that can be found this way? I've only been playing a couple weeks.

This makes me think the M4A1 will be nerfed one day too. That and the other strong guns that got just nerfed should have all been respect items from the start, forget those Tommy guns and sawn offs.

i don't think this will happen. imagine the uproar this would cause! this would be madness...months of effort going to waste...im sure FUNZIO doesn't want to create another PR disaster.
