Why all these posts to add everyones mafia code

Sorry for the odd post.

But I keep seeing everyone add me, add me, add me I am more important. Why do I want to add you, what does it bring to me?

If I was to add people listed how does it affect me.

Say I am mafia 50 and they are mafia 100/150/200/250, when I go to rob or attack someone will this benefit me or go against me? ie will the listings show higher mafia members on similar levels?
Will it go against me if higher members can now see me and cause more damage

I've just recently started playing this game and I've been searching for the answer to this question as well on what benefit is a large mafia to an individual player. I currently have a mafia size of 1500+ but I can't see any real difference that it makes when I'm being attacked by someone that has the same level and has about the same stats as I do but with a much smaller mafia of around 200. The chances are still 50/50 on who will win. I think I read somewhere that having a mafia will add more weaponry to your attacks but from what I can see, that is not the case. If anyone can answer why mafia size matters it would be greatly appreciated as I'm seeing that it gives no advantage to gameplay.

its only how strong you can equip your mafia member. 5 mafia per level, 500 max for lvl 100 and above.

but if they all run naked to the battle you will be the easy target. so if u cant equip a full mob, dont add those many. buy stuff to give em each of every item, gun, melee, armor, car. and explosives if ur economy can effort it.

the rival list should mostly show players with the same mafia size and level. add more if u have equipment for them, never add over 1000, friends will start to show up in rival list again, some bug or setting to not run out of enemies. but if u dont want to attack those you added, dont add thousands. never need more than 500
