What is the difference between Defense Skill and Alliance Defense?
Could we use Alliance Defense instead of Defense Skill?

Please share your idea.
Thank you,

Alliance Defense is basically the sum of the defenses of your best n units, where n = 4*min(level*5,#allies). There is also a 10% bonus on your infantry, ground, air or sea units, depending on which nation you are (except Iran/US).

Defense Skill-- I don't think anyone really knows exactly how it's used, but most people believe it is some kind of multiplier factor that is added to your Alliance Defense. I think Tramp Stamp or Agent Orange said in Crime City, it would be:

(1 + .09*level) * defense skill

doesn't seem to be exactly the same in MW but probably a similar idea.

In Crime City the multiplier is

1.09 + .09 * (level - 1)

I suspect that the algorithm may be multiplied by 10 in Modern War but it's merely a hunch,

What am I misunderstanding in this situation: how can someone have an alliance of slightly over 600 members, then have an Alliance Attack consisting in excess of 3300, and an Alliance Defence over 3500?
Also, what is the correlation between Alliance Attack and Alliance Defence?
Please explain, as I must be a person that possesses a dull mind and not very intuitive.
Thank you for any clarity that you are able to provide on this issue.
