ppl get pissed at me cause i "stalk" there hoods, if they on my news feed i rob them before i go to the rivals list everytime, it just seems right to rob the ppl who robbed/attacked me. and i keep on them until they are pushed off my newsfeed(which is a few days maybe but never weeks), but if they always have good stuff to rob why not it be me to rob them then someone else.

i got this lvl 200 guy on me everyday always robs my laundermats and arcades but when i go to his hood he got two casinos, two hotels, two condos, one office building, two upscale clubs and some other good stuff and never collects his stuff on time so i visit his hood couple times a day and he gets pissed, but if he stopped robbing my laundermats and silly stuff he would be pushed off my newsfeed

Personally, going after the people on the wall is a lot more fun and "real" than the boring rivals list. There is an known psychological element in this game and that is driving one to emotion, that is part of the known formula for addiction :).

lol, i know for a fact im the only person on a couple newsfeed, i go after the ppl on my newsfeed all the time every chance i get everyday if they still on there, BUT if they have nothing up or interesting then i do go to rivals list. i think for me why i do it, is to just piss the person off and make them say damn why i even rob this girl, but for me i don't have high attack so most times if you a higher defense even i win robberies 1 outta 5 im still gonna rob to let you know im on your azz, but after a few days its boring and i move on, unless you keep coming back.

I attacked/robbed one guy a few times and later he is mad at me, he robs me every chance he has, from a laundromat to a warehouse, he robs me day & night & hour, for weeks, he seems never want to stop doing so.

So what ? I'm playing a fighting game, not a doll game, people visit my hood to rob not to build. If he does not rob me, someone else will. I do not get revenge or notice his hood, I only attack/rob to get highest respect points not because I hate someone or such. I sometimes rob his warehouse/clothing stores again because of respect points.

I wonder why you care so much about that, it's just a game, if you don't feel comfortable, simply stop playing.

dudeman, I haven't had this problem myself but can understand your frustration. A question about the situation... can you tell from the robbery cash amounts and/or from the distribution of attacks if the two players are mixing up their attacks and the robberies across different buildings, with the presumably intentional effect of spamming your feed?

Not sure that comes across right so trying again... Typically a player interested in 3 buildings and attacking, would do each activity in turn, resulting in four messages on their victim's feed. More messages will result if some of the attempts are not successful. In your case, do you suspect these rivals are attacking building1, then building2, then building3, then building1 again, then building3 again, then attacking, then building2 again, etc... in order to maximize the amount of spam on your feed for the amount of stamina they invest against you? You can likely tell from the cash amounts. If that is the case, you might consider reporting it to support. Yes, it's technically within the game boundaries, but so is intentional text spamming someone's wall, and I believe I've read previously that support may intervene in those cases, when reported. Something to consider anyway, if their practice does indeed fall out of bounds of reasonable game behavior.

Adding to that. A couple more thoughts.

How many high-turnover buildings do you have that you cannot collect regularly? Are they still valuable enough to keep? You could consider selling some buildings to reduce your attack surface. It might beat quitting. Ok, so maybe that's going too far. How about not collecting the leftover 40% from some of those buildings? I haven't tried this myself, but I've wondered about it as a possible tactic to employ later for other scenarios. I suspect (but again, have not confirmed) that it'd be possible to just not collect from robbed buildings and effectively leave them dormant for extended periods of time. If this works, this could serve two purposes - less spam they can generate per time period, plus it weakens their presumed objective, which may lead them to 'move on' sooner. It'd beat quitting, and also beat selling off buildings. Just focus on collecting your highest value and or most consistently collected buildings and let the rest lay fallow until they finally move on.

Not sure this'll help, but I feel bad you weren't getting either consolation or productive suggestions. At the very least this might spark other ideas.

Dudeman get a grip on yourself already you've told us you can't tell the time so two people seadog and the other guy have clock on and they probably don't stalk you just as soon as you come up on the rival list they come visit your hood for any money about. To me that mean 2 things collect your money asap or stop playing it as they are not stalking.

Hey dudeman I really feel your frustration. It completely sucks when someone occupies you feed!

My solution to that problem was to move all my controlable building timers to the same 40x16 square. And leave the other buildings uncollected. I retaliated a couple of days with robberies while they couldn't hit my buildings at all and then I 'forgot' all about them. After 4-5 days with a few attacks it stopped cold. Everything went back to normal.. 'normal'.

Hope you find a soution to your problem and go back to enjoying to game!

Two attacks and the explosives are completely wasted. I bought into the stupid explosives story, and now that I am attacked by level 200, it's meaningless to stock them. Agreed. Either sync up your buildings and tend to your collection times, or know that you can (and will) get robbed if looking the other way. Happens to the best of us all. Be patient, level up, and build as you go.

Firstly, I can see your obviously very angry with both these ppl and with Funzio for f'cking your timers up.

Unfortunately this is an aspect of the game you cannot get away from. It is Crime City and it is full of mini-wars. It sounds like your severely losing this one :/

If you have posted on either of their walls trash talk, then your asking for trouble. Posting trash comments on others walls is an open invitation to be permanently robbed/whacked by them.

There are some simple steps to take to get rid of them.

1st: Don't collect from your buildings for 48hours while the timers reset. This also gives them nothing to rob.

2nd: don't put you name in their news pannel (ever again).

I wouldn't spam - thats just asking for trouble in a situation that has already spiraled out of control for you. I personally have low respect for spammers even though its all legal in the game.

After 2days they will stop with nothing to collect. Your news pannel will be filled with other rivals and they will lose you in their news pannel. 2days is a short amount of time in CC, and you can still upgrade, builds, and rob other players. Losing two days income to sync your times and get rid of your two rivals is a small price to pay.

it gets annoying, scary and creepy for me when all I ever saw was that dude(my stalker)'s face n fro dominating my news feed at all hours every day. i seriously must've pissed him off sometime before, but I can't remember.

The edge is just that, an edge over comparable peers. But when you are attacked by high levels (whom I don't regard as rivals, more like masters and serfs)...it just goes to puff. I was attacked by someone 60 levels above me...level 158 with attack 39555 and def 47238. Guess what happened to my explosives?

Alright, here goes. I had 2500 loses end Oct. Today, the number is about 6000. 9 weeks of loses, about 55 defeats a day, including my own attack loses. the inital loses were about 100-150 per day. ie, every hour block, there were like 8-10 loses. happened 24/7 non-stop.

frustrating? certainly. think the players were targeting me, at times yes. but this is the game. and the fundamentals of it is to do PvP attacks and robs.

JJ had a good advise, build defense. This takes time and money. Meanwhile, you will be a whipping boy/girl till you slowly repel the loses.

Anubis had a good advise, dont spam. Cos it will just reinforce your own name to the attacking party and you'll signing a life time whipping boy contract to the opponent. Unless you whip out your credit card or your dad's one or sugar daddy/mommy's one, buy gold to up your att/def by +20k at once... Else...

Remember, we are all part of a statistic. Our wins/loses is part of a statistic. Note, I am still a whipping boy to the higher levels. But I still enjoy the game for it's merits.

Defensive explosives are a huge waste of money. They may scare some people away but there will always be those who have higher attack than you no matter what explosives you have. End result: you get reamed and your explosives go down the drain.
Offensive explosive however are a feasible investment since you alone decide when you want to risk them and they can help provide that little extra for you to be able to hit some fat juicy targets. Bear in mind that there will still be some which will go Bang due to random factor etc..

Outstanding. I agree. Dudeman, this is all part of the game. Deal with it. Focus your energies on getting stronger. Nothing else will make a difference. You can let your hood sit uncollected; it might send them packing. But I guarantee that when they see your name pop up in the rivals list again, you're getting hit. Beefing up your defense is the only thing that will help. The bottom line is that you're weak. Take your beating as a clue that you need to get stronger, quit whining, and go fix yourself.

I rob and attack the same way my idol Babytway does which is mostly from my news feed cuz I get a major nutt from terrozing those who step to me but it works both ways because I have had my butt taxed many a day! For those who constantly complain about being attacked by players from much higher levels, get mad at Funzio and not them because they can only attack those on their rivals list which is controlled by Funzio. I'm at level 122 but my rivals list stay full of level 80-100 players so many times I have no choice but to get them when I need respect points or some extra cash. I used to get pissed by being attacked by much higher level players until I became one and saw for myself there isn't much of an option. Oh by the way, don't be fooled by how high of a level someone is because there are some very weak high level players who I tax on a regular. So the bottom line is this is a game of power, defense, and strategy! Find your niche and work it to your advantage but this is not a game to be whining on because seriously no one cares how much you cry if you get caught slippin!!!!!!!!!!!

And as far as getting caught... my best robbery was yesterday. Came across a hood with those two shiny gold buildings just waiting to be plucked. Moved up the hood, found two pirates smiling at me. After a few more buildings (chapels, beachsides, and others)... walked away with over $350,000 from one hood. WOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!

I only have 16 stamina. CC is my life lol. but i try to only rob the high respect payout building most of the time. but sometimes i like to rob money buildings or buildings i never robbed before. i only rob most of the time, meat factories, clothing stores, movie theaters, lofts, warehouses i stick with most time. but italian restaurants and diners is what i see available most often

I keep telling people its only a game...The same guy keeps attacking me but almost newer robs me bacause i only have 12/24/48 hours buildings witch i can collect all the same time..I told him I was organised but he just got mad and wrote many stupid messages comparing the game to real life and so on..I told him he should play sim city instead of crime city where the goal is to rob and attack.I think that if the same players gets mad at u and keeps comming back then it ok and also much easyer to RErob them..
Also it should be a game with less or no moral so if you rob or attack downlevel people get mad to.
