Cant buy gold.

Hello,

I have been unable to buy gold as every time I have tried it asks me to contact iTunes support. I have no problem buying anything else in the app store. I have linked my apple ID to my iTunes account via PayPal. What could be the problem please? The problem is app specific and I don't want to miss the sale.
