i've got a $40 itunes gift card..went to itunes and redeemed the code so it says i have $40 in my account. i went in to buy bank truck of gold for $39.99 but it says "insufficient funds" is this because there is tax on the $39.99? if so when i put in my credit card info will it take the funds from the gift card first, then the rest from the credit card? thanks guys

There shouldn't be tax on gold.

There shouldn't be tax on gold.

I highly doubt funzio has any say on this but I completely agree. I've been upset for years about buying psn cards and paying tax and then getting taxed again when you buy something in the online store.
I thought it might have something to do with certain laws in Canada it's a liitle sickening to say the least.

In Germany the cards are tax free as they are waivers, but tax gets deducted from the actual purchases in the itunes/app store.
