How to make the big bucks

Lets talk about economy for dummies here.

Without spending any money on gold buildings whats a good stratergy for making it rich. I currently earn around 21k per hour. I want to dramaticaly increase this very soon. Im going into economy mode. I have

level 1 loft x 2
level 7 wearhouse x 2
level 4 MT x2
level 6 Museum x2
level 2 internet cafes x2
level 1 bowerstone x2


plus all the other trashy building from the start upgraded to very high levels

Whats my next logical step for getting the economy i want. Taking into account that i dont want any buldings where the pay out is less then 8 hours.


Basicaly I want to know what are the best money earning buildings you can buy and that give you the biggest bang for buck.

What building do you suggest that I buy and upgrade the **** outa? :)

I have a soft spot for buildings that pay out 8 Hours+

dominicans r great! basically when u get 50000/hr u can anything u want but stick to the plan getting all 12/24 buildings, so if i were u, id get dominicans first, and upgrade movie theater, then id skip crematorium and get upscale club. then straight to condo. then u can do anything u want coz u'd have 100000/hr by then

Awww I wish I had read this post sooner. I already spent 1.2M on a crematorium. (must think of a way to hide the ugly building) 2 more days before it is ready. I need to start upgrading my 2 Dominicans asap. I'll probably regret it but I think I'll skip the camping and take my chances with the big fish. Just don't have the patience to camp.

It all depends on your playing and collection style. You have to buy and upgrade buildings that compliment how often you can collect and the space in your hood.

I'm with Babytway on this one. Build your economy strong, but don't forget to go pillage. Get to know what buildings are the "good ones" and hit hard. You can easily make a couple 100k a day on robberies.

Hah! This is the way I like to play as well. All Stam used for PvP and robberies (only fat targets). All respect used for better weapons. All cash for buildings and upgrades (and some explosives). All energy for farming. I'm having a ball. My attack is higher than my defense. Don't really mind getting robbed as I make more money from robbing others.

I second this statement on the dominicans. They are relatively cheap, and upgrade fast. By level 4 you basically have a level 1 church - quickly.

I third the DOminicans - They are amazing.

I spent the xmas couple of days building two and upgrading them to level 4. They both pay out the same as my churches (give or take a couple of K). If I took them to level 6 they would pay more than the $4,000,000 Upscale Night clubs initial payout. (The upgrade times are small too)

I also find it funny that the Beachside Inn is :
1 Day, $12,500, Costs $325,000 (with presumabley nice upgrade times to and cheaper)

The Brownstone is:
1 Day. $12,000, Costs $400,000 (with longer upgrade times and more expensive to upgrade).

cant give advise without more information, income per hour, level, play style. i play for a while and just preparing to slow down logins per day, so focus is on 12/24/48h buildings. if u check the lvl200 hoods u will see thats the only buildings left coz u collect em once a day and dont have to login like 5-6 times even if all is well synced. as long you can collect em, keep em. if u get robbed all day and even use defense explosives better sell them away and get 24/48hs.

the rest are side quests, and plantin trees in the hood is pure SIM :p ).

Sorry, but I'm writing from phone, so it would take me ages the jump between safari and cc to wrote what buildings I've got (non-gold, that's for sure).

Around 6k/day , Tommorow my hood gonna expand to lvl 6 (or7?).

I started to read one of Frog's posts and probobly I gonna get rid of LM - I plan to slow down a bit with this game, not pick up change each 5 mins 24/7

Upgrade the movie theaters, loft and brownstone!

Brownstone=Terrible to upgrade not worth the cost
Replace with dominican restuarant when its available or beachside inn.

Movie theaters=Ok to upgrade but not as good as lofts

LOfts= Best option to upgrade in my opinion, remember this follows the triangle sequence in payout which is much better,

1 -> 1
2 -> 3
3 -> 6
4 -> 10
5 -> 15
6 -> 22
7 -> 31
8 -> 42
9 -> 55
10 -> 75

A movie theater (faster build times & cheaper upgrades) has better ROI but a Loft will produce alot more money and increase your hourly output more significantly.

I dont know when the dominican restuarant is unlocked it was introduced later on in the game. Thats good though for you. The dominican restuarant is way better then the brownstone.

IMHO upgrade Lofts and get the second UC under construction.

Well I was assuming you were gonna do both. Just upgrade Lofts and get the UC under construction FIRST. The Brownstone and Crematorium should not be overlooked, they just are not as much of a "priority".

The "Big Three" buildings (Loft, MT, and NC) are always safe choices when you cannot decide what to upgrade.

Are you serious? That would take him a month and a half at least to save for that. You don't want to start saving for the NC until you're around 200k an hour. Use that 200k to buy the most expensive upgrade you can out of the Loft, Movie Theater and Dominican and keep doing that until you're making 200k.

Here's what i would do if i was you, just my thoughts.

Make the below your upgrade priorities in the following order to get a big IPH increase. Also build another Upscale Club.

2x loft-- lvl 1
1x upscale club-- lvl 1
2x movie theater-- lvl 3,4
2x dominican-- lvl 5
2x beachside inn-- lvl 2,3
2x Wholesale warehouse-- lvl 2
2x Brownstone-- lvl 1,2
2x Internet company-- lvl 2
2x flower shop-- lvl 1
2x Tshirt stand-- lvl 7

Whilst saving for the expensive upgrades work on the bottom three.

In my opinion these are the best gold buildings to buy in the following order:

1. Palm Hotel - 500 Gold each (Unlocks at level 165) collects in 24hrs
2. Gentlemans Club - 150 Gold (Unlocks at level 125) collects in 24hrs
3. Rock Cafe - 175 Gold (Unlocks at level 102) collects in 12hrs
4. Church - 200 Gold (Unlocks at level 64) collects in 24hrs
5. Anchor Imports - 225 Gold (Unlocks at level 43) collects in 48hrs
6. Smoke Shops - 15 Gold (Unlocks at level 38) collects in 8hrs

If i was you i would go for 2 churches in the lower levels and 2 Palm Hotel's in the higher levels.
