i dont know the payout for pirate tarven but i can tell you the wedding chapel level 1 is like 9860 and it sucks compared to getting 121,000 payout from a rock cafe, rock cafe is like the one of the best level 1 payout building to have

I just picked up two rock cafes it put my income up considerably making my loft upgrades much more affordable. i still have 682 gold left over though. I'm considering getting the pirate taverns, I'm just waiting to see if i can get the hang of 8 hour collection times.

As others have warned you, don't waste real money on def buildings, if you want stats added to your mafia att or def, spend the gold on items instead... way better investment in the long run.

It is always interesting reading these types of post because you can play CrimeCity in a million and one different ways and there are so many different strategies that it would make your head spin. I give Funzio a lot of credit because this game is set up in a very dynamic way with many different aspects. Its like do you concentrate on building up attack or on defense, invest in money buildings (and which money buildings to invest in), the same with defense buildings, after leveling up do you spend your skill points on attack, defense, energy, or stamina, do you choose to rob rivals instead of attack, and so on and so on. Some players are obviously more successful than others but the bottom line is we all have our own unique strategy because what might work for someone else might not work for you.

So with that being said money buildings should be bought based on what is best for you. For me the key is to take some time and do some simple math. Yes the wedding chappels pay $9980/3 hrs which equals $79,840/day but the question is do you want to lose sleep every night collecting from them every 3 hours. The rock cafe pays $121,001/12 hrs which equals $242,002/day and the pirate tavern pays $110,001/8 hrs which equals $330,003/day. I have learned to buy money buildings which pays more per day so to me some buildings are just not worth buying and if you plan on playing this game into the level 100's I would suggest you start saving up and prepare yourself to buy the high end buildings because at those levels a lot of previous buildings will become obsolete.

Lastly, as for the defense buildings they are not useless and will play a major factor at the higher levels. I have seen players who can sleep comfortably at night because they have built up defense buildings in a way that no one can rob them so if you think defense buildings are worthless just wait until you get into the higher 100's and then you will see the value of them.
