Building Defense vs. Attack Defense by jlhy doesn't tally with fight screen results

Ok first of all I would like to say jlhy has done a great job in defining out the contribution by def buildings for mafia def during pvp. I never say this is wrong. So I ask someone to atk me and tell me the value from his fight screen result

So we assume
mafia def during pvp = values from def bldgs done by jihy + values from all our items
This is wrong!!

Instead I found out that it was much lesser
Is someone able to verify my understanding?

Alright I think I have some understanding now. What jlhy has figured out is actually the rob def. Its not pvp def. Pvp def constitutes another formula. I roughly figured out the formula now. Let me double check again and I will update all of u.

Looks like your right Peacock. I did a quick check and it appears to be the value of the rob result screen and not the fight screen.

I used this player because his defense buildings and levels were easy to see.

This player has 14644 Profile Defense.

In his hood he has:
1 level 6 Guard Tower - 73 defense (10.5 rob defense)
1 level 5 Machine Gun Turret - 44 defense (15 rob defense)
1 level 2 Machine Gun Turret - 11 defense (6.5 rob defense)
1 level 3 Safe House - 35 defense (18 rob defense)
1 level 7 Abandoned Building - 69 defense (8 rob defense)

I attacked and robbed this player one time each to get the fight result screen and rob result screen.

The fight result screen displayed 14441 and the rob result screen displayed 14470.

Taking the total defense of the defense buildings 232 (73+44+11+35+69=232) and subtracting it from the players profile defense (14644-232=14412) gives us the value of the players defense without the profile defense.

Now take the value 14412 and add it to the rob value 58 (10.5+15+6.5+18+8=58). 14412+58=14470 which is the result displayed in the rob result screen.

Whats interesting is if you take the rob defense value (58) and half it (29), then add 29 to the value without profile defense (14412+29=14441) you get 14441 which is the value displayed in the fight result screen.

If this new insight into how rob and PvP def is calculated then one can deduce that def buildings are a complete waste of time and money, that will make a lot of players pissed to no end, including all the players that spent gold on building def. Not only that, but then all the comments by CC Mark on how rob def is calcualted was a complete lie.

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty jaded right now. I bought 30+ Bodyguard agency's a while back and feel like they're pretty close to worthless compared to the money buildings I could have bought with the gold instead.

No kidding, wasting 750+ gold on building def is no joking matter, this issue will need to be resolved FAST.... otherwise I can see a FLOOD of emails going to funzio demanding there gold/money back.

You're right, like I've stated in other threads, I get attacked maybe 5-6 times a week at the most.
