Apologies if this is an already discussed topic... but I couldn't find it anywhere using the search options...

How does the economics work while robbing... I manage to get 40% (20+20) if I hit the same building twice... some buildings allow me to hit them a third time but the payout is practically zilch...
On the other hand when I get robbed... I lose more than half the payout... so am I missing something here...

You aren't the only one who has noticed. The game is designed that way, and nobody at Funzio is talking. Think of it as a 20% renovation fee.....LOL!

Are you a tycoon? I wonder if the payout is determined by the defender's tycoon status or the attacker's.

Defenders. I found this out when I robbed 2 different Flowershops in 2 hoods. 1 of them I hit for $920 something, the next hood I hit for $1,020. Quickly figured out that the latter had Tycoon or Goodfella class.

Just talking about the third robbery, sometimes it does let you rob three but the 3rd is a alway1-3$ i say leave there for the next to think he scored a good building, the exception to that is if it is a good respect payout building then rob it for the 1-3$ because you still get the same respect so its like a respect bonus. thats how i look at it
