I think most of u are very interested in the multiplier effect on skill points. Let me give u a rough guildline

I picked this guy becoz he has minimal amt of of def buildings in his hood
His profile status showed that he has 41702 def

642

The fight screen results shows that he has 40072 so this guy has roughly 1.6k of bldg def

643

I have 36k of mafia atk and I have 300 skill points invested in atk but I still lose to this guy. I'm 20 lv above him. Mayb he has 100-200 invested in def at most and his multiplier should be lesser than mine but my 300 atk skills could not even bridge this freaking 4k gap. I lost 10 Naplams in this fight. This shows that I still have a big gap to cover. How much do u think the multiplier will be? Mayb 300 skill pts x 7 (multiplier) = ~2000 extra atk. Even at my lv the multiplier is so insignificant, what do u think urs will be?

My conclusion is that don't even think of using the multiplier alone to beat the top gold players. That will nv happen. U must pay to beat them. U can invest ur skill pts. on stamina and energy instead.

PS: This pic was backdated about a week. I've since moved away from this lv. My apologies but I prefer to play the game in privacy. Just personal preference, hope u all don't mind. just a reminder, I didn't hack my atk skill. My total skill pts are reseted becoz the wrong amt. was alloctaed. so I was lucky to get the chance to do this experiment

You can't prove like that, peacock.

This is what I think:
1st theory: - You increase your attack stats by explosives. However the explosive only add to your stats, make you feel better, but they do not really use full stats for attack.
Think again, you can have 500 napalm bombs & use 500 bombs full stats to attack others but you only lose 10 bombs. How can it be ? Why don't you use only 10 bombs & lose all, it's more reasonable.

2nd theory: When I'm at level 100, have 17k attack points (real stats - no explosives), I still lose to those 13k defense points. My attack skill point is 150. I will surprise if many people have 150 defense skill points.

Imagine if each level only add 1 to attack multiplier (and it add the same to defense multiplier), at level 100 - my skill points would add 15,000 to my total attack point; it becomes 32k attack points. How can I lose to the 13k + <150 defense skill points ?

I think it because the multiplier does not really work for attack points. Mark only mentioned about defense multiplier.

My theory is that skill points equate to a item, so having 10/10 attack/defense is equal to having a 9/9 item. Accounting for the usual +/- .1% random chance, the value of skill point decreased as you go up. Basically, my theory it your skill points are an upgradable item.

Also, your defense makes no difference when you attack someone, only when you are attacked/robbed. If you attack someone, only your attack vs. their defense matters.

Should be 10%, or +/1 .1

This is where CC Mark talk about multiplier definition.

But I can still win another guy with 34k mafia def 10 hits in a row although my actual mafia atk (excluding explosives) was ~25k then.. I will jus post 1 of the pics. What I can say is that the multiplier can only bring me to the range bet these 2 guys. Of cuz we must also include the skill points from the opponent. But If I have roughly 200 skill pts more than these 2 guys my atk will be. ard 38k if I offset 100 skill points from the 3 of us. What I can conclude is that I don't actually use 25k to fight ppl and the multiplier is still very small from these samplings

how about both of you use explosives to improve stats ?

the reason I don't think player can use massive explosives is because they are too cheap compare to other items.

I buy steel garrote 53k, it only give me 10 to attack points; but 54k with explosive give me 120 attack points. With money to buy 10 steel garrotes (100 points) I can have 1200 attack points. It's too good to be true. what the point to buy other items ?

lol..Khung look at the stats of my opponents. Ppl with this kind of stats are very arrogant in this game. U want me to ask them to do experiments after I hit them like a punchbag? "Hi, can I whack u some more but this time round can u go and stock up some land mines first?"

My apologies, this is as much as I can give to this forum

There is a multiplier for each level you have and your opponent. It's called pvp_attack_scale & pvp_defense_scale.

At lvl 1, these values are both 1.09, at lvl 100 these values are both 10 (increases from lvl 1 with each lvl you gain), only a guess if these might be used for calculating fight stats.

great! that's what I need, thanks Jimmy. Could you give more info to calculate more precisely, like level 100, 150 or how many for each step ?

each step (level) add 0.045, but still miss 1 step. if level 1 is 1.09, level 199 is 10.

I think it just simple. I'm level 120; multiplier is 6.445, skill point 150 -> attack points = 150 * 6.445 = +966.75.

Sorry Khung, I didn't notice the cap at 100, from 100 - 200 it's the same value (in the data), which doesn't make sense. I'm going blind reading all this XML in the morning, need more coffee. :)

it makes sense now. each level add 0.9, level 1 = 1.09, level 100 = 10.

So I just add my character 1500 atk point.

I think Peacock made a wrong move. 300 attack skill points not worth. I notice he has some cool weapons, I saw them from 1 guy thought he disappear months ago.

If my current lvl is 150. So it's 10 x 300 of skills pts = 3000 extra. This value fits perfectly well into all my samplings. Thanks jimmy. How did u get these values?

If my current lvl is 150. So it's 7.5 x 300 of skills pts = 2250 extra. This value fits perfectly well into all my samplings. Thanks jimmy. How did u get these values?...

Game data.

No. It's definitely worth it. If I had invested 100 of it to def, I will only be getting 1000 more for def which can be supplied with def bldgs. Now I find that it's totally not worth to put anything into def skills

Just remember guys/girls, all this can change within a heartbeat (i.e. next data update), you should see how many different M4 A1's there are in the game data, with different stats.

Does this not mean att skill points are most definately worth it? There is only so much energy/stamina you need. Defence skill points seems worthless, so att all the way once your energy and stamina are at appropriate levels?

Regarding M4A1, its wierd how if you try to buy one from an opponent it comes up with 450R.

It's in the data like that, if the in_store flag were set to 1, you would be able to buy it with respect. Who knows, maybe in the future.

So level 85 would be 8.5?

8.5 x attack skill points = what is added to your attack?

What about defense? Same thing?
8.5xdefense skill points = defense added?

I think so. Because we have absolutely no clues, that the only thing I can believe up to this point.

just open the spreadsheet, 1 | 1.09 , 2 | 1.18, and drag both rows to 100 : 10. you will have the number you want.

Ok thanks!
I did that and got 8.65 at level 85

This is only for attack skills right? Or can it be applied to both defense and attack?

should be both, as 2 numbers are same. Thanks to JimmyShines.

I am level 95... so multiplier is 9.55. My attack and defense skill allocation are 96/95 respectively. So theoretically it adds 9.55*96 = 916 to my attack, and 907 to my defense. On my profile screen, my Total Mafia Attack = 14309 and Defense = 16398....

Question: has this 916 and 907 been added to My Profile A/D? I don't think its been included...instead its used in computation of battle outcomes, but not displayed on screen.
