Never seen a Mossberg.
Many looting place have 0 dropping rate no matter how many times I try to loot. I loot day & night & day & night in 1 place and it drop nothing. Funzio may lock those looting place to make sure everything under control.

No..no..no. This item is locked by Funzio. If this is hanging freely, who will buy gold from Funzio? It will only b unlocked when ppl start to leave this game and when Funzio sent us a new update to secretly unlock the game data in our device

PS: Funzio is still selling us maid guns (what s.hit is that?) they will offer us better items if mossberg is available.

Thanks allhaildiscordia, for all the great data, so since these rates can be found on the client dataset, I wonder if there is a server component that also controls the drops (like locking the weapons they don't want dropped).

The drop rates have not changed at all. One theory could be that the random number generator is not providing the expect results, resulting in lower than expected drop rates.

I know u r the 1st generation player and i'm also. Don't u remember Titanium guard armor (11/32) doesn't exist in the game until Funzio sent us a new update? (I think it came with the explosive update if im not wrong).
So let's be patient and wait for the 3rd generation update..lol

well if i remember it correctly, it comes with completing a goal...well obviously there are awesome mission loots like golden rocket launcher etc. but u can't loot them from any locations. that's the point. I dont think you can just loot them...it's against the very purpose of profiting lol. i just wonder where does allhaildiscordia got his/her data?

Probably a mission, just like the 2 golden weapons that gives stats (40/60 & 60/40). Funzio can't afford to make this a lootable item(s). More likely to obtain them a one time item.

I think they just screwed up. Just like how there are jobs that say they drop loot, but never, ever do. Try Carmen Rivera in Canal Street. Game data says she drops loot with a 15% chance, but the loot is actually undefined, so she never drops any.

I looted her thousands times, only 9 energy per loot, I spend days to loot her but drop nothing.

Like I said, she's marked as dropping loot, and the icon appear when you first tap, but the Funzio's data is broken and she fails to. Funzio doesn't care about QC, they care about IAP.

Another strategy would be getting as few XP as possible per loot. If I filled in the XP/click correctly (not sure, been in a hurry) one gets:
Pier 13 1*57=57 XP -> 300.0 expected XP
Boardwalk 1*43=43 XP -> 307.1 expected XP
Market Plaza 2*72=144 XP -> 378.9 expected XP
Sewage Plant 3*76=228 XP -> 584.6 expected XP
Little San Juan 3*75=225 XP -> 592.1 expected XP
Packer Heights 5*54=270 XP -> 1038.5 expected XP
Junkyard 4*14=56 XP -> 1120.0 expected XP
Circuit Street 6*60=360 XP -> 1565.2 expected XP
Russian District 6*112=672 XP -> 2317.2 expected XP
Auto Row 6*46=276 XP -> 3450.0 expected XP

Seems to even further entrench the idea that Boardwalk is the optimum location: ~2.3% increase of exp over Pier 13 in exchange for ~28% more efficient energy usage.

for the Mossberg 590 do you think the problem could be you have not unlocked that area yet? maybe havent gotten level 1 mastery on all levels prior to empire station or which ever location you try to loot. i don't know if that is true but that would seem to be a logical way to control things and still give a great loot item

I think it's something they've created, therefore, it has to go somewhere, but they control when it's "active" and when it isn't. It's probably easiest to build it into the game first, and activate it when they want to, for whatever reason.

The difference between strong players and weak players is the amount of M4s they have. Regardless of all our other postulations and theories, plain and simple, if you have hundreds of M4s, you're stronger than most. Not everyone does.

Introducing another lootable gun that's considerably stronger than the M4 would slant the balance of power even further into the hands of those willing to loot for months at a time. There would be even less strategy than there is now.
