What is up with this?

I just lost to someone that has 8200 defense while I have 12100 attack? How can I lose? I should obviously win and now I'm pissed because I had to win 100 consecutive wins and I lost when I had 89/100.

It probably has something to do with that (defense stat)*(random unknown factor) formula.

That's my best guess anyways. I hate it when that sh!t happens too.

They recently changed some things in the game.
Before the last maintenance i had over 17000 def and someone with 9500 attack could not rob me.
I am now lvl 95 and have 20264 def with 394 mob friends and i got robbed by someone with 7900+ attack ! and that my friend is not possible.
And to make more interesting now i have not been attack or robbed since 4 days, my news list go's back 4 days that was the last attack on me.

ouch! that sucks! i'm glad i'm done with fight quests. better luck second time round.

Yes I know, sucks alot. I am back up to 40 though. The reason i probably lost because I attacked a rank 200 with those stats?

i suppose your rival had a lot of skills invested in defense. it is rumored that attack and defense skills have a multiplier effect. as you level up, the contribution of skills towards total attack/defense stat proportionally increases. this would explain why you lost!

The problem with attacking higher ranks is the atk/def skill points become more valuable the higher the level because the multiplier increases with level.

In the same boat, but not as severe. Just lost to someone that had 5200 Def, where I have 7900 Attack. 45/46 Win streak, down the drain...

Yeah I guess that is why. Need to put more skill points towards attack

Me too. It's even worse though because my entire list was filled up with news stories by Diverman, so I only have one revenge button. All other stories except for one are comments (some people like to swear on my wall). The one exception is some random person who attacked me once and lost.
