I have noticed that most of the hoods I visit have a basketball court and I can't even see how tonged one. I play on an IPad, is this a Facebook only item or something?

No, it is the cheapest gold building, at just 5. Also, you won't be able to see Facebook hoods. Just iOS hoods (iPod, iPhone, iPad)

You won't see a basketball court in my hood, although I really wish I had built them when I started. The game tricked me into spending one gold to finish my first building, and that was when I learned you have to pay for gold, so I just got the ice cream shop instead. No idea what happened to my one last gold though.

Thanks guys, maybe it's not worth it, it takes up a lot of space, in terms of gold, I tried to buy $99.99 worth and it told me I have to purchase the App first????

Yeah, I know. I still wish I had camped out with the basketball courts at the start though. Problem is I don't have the patience for that, so everything probably worked out for the best.

Definitely! Especially if you don't have the patience for 12/24/48 hour buildings. Get that Ice Cream Shop to lvl 10 asap, I'm still working on mine. I love collecting them every 3 hours.

My ice cream shop has been stuck at level - for a while now. I still have lots of things that take less time to upgrade, so I have a hard time doing one thing when I could do several in the same amount of time.
