What is the purpose of having thousands of mob members?

What is the purpose of having thousands of mob members? I see multiple people with so many mob members or who post that they have over 4,000 or something.

From my understanding, you can only equip/bring into battle/increase attack and defense points by 5 mob member per level. So if you are at level 10, you can equip 50 mob members. Even if you have 500 members, you can only bring 50 into battle. So even if you are at level 200, you can only use 1,000 members.

So unless I am missing something, what is the point of having over 1,000 mob members?

yes that is true. however, you can't just visit your friends and attack. you must go to "rival list" and find them.

i remember this player who was complaining that he had someone in his friend list stalking him and couldn't retaliate because the app kept telling him he couldn't 'cause they were friends (his mafia size was less than a thousand). i advised him to either drop his "friend" or build his friend list to 1000 to get back at his "friend".

How are you able to add that much mafia? Do you still see them on your rival list even if you added them? Because I have that problem. I can add people, but they still show up on my rival list.

Yes! I wish it didnt! The purpose for me too add lots of mafia was to see new rivals because I kept seeing the same ppl but it keeps showing them even when I added them.

If I see someone with over 1K mafia I presume they don't know how to play the game. I hover mine just above 500, and the just above is making friends with ppl off the forum.

Yes, it is, and looking at his stats, he appears to enjoy getting his ass kicked as well.

I don't get my ass kicked, I started out really poorly when I started the game up to rank 60, I had like 1000 wins and 7000 losses. I'm doing so much better now -.-

I can confirm that you can attack/rob your friends once you reach a certain mob level (1000?). It happened to me yesterday about 5 hours after I added him. I tried to retaliate, and it wouldn't let me.
