a drop in pvp items? I was usually racking up a half dozen a day. Over the past few days, I I have only gotten a few items.

I agree with dudeman, it just wasn't your time for the past few days. I've gotten my fair share of useless butterfly knifes, Steyr guns, police armor, police vans and one useful lowrider vehicle in the past few days.
