New Rival list change??

I'm currently Level 86, just refreshed and see a load of BIG BOYS at levels 88-119 on my rival list..did they just change something because it didnt happen this morning.

I am level 55 and suddenly get matched with rivals up to 200. Impossible to play, hope its only a technical glitch - otherwise I'm toast.

I'm used to seeing a few people with less mafia than me and the rest with either the same or maybe 20-30 more, but hundreds?!?! Wtf am I supposed to do with that?!

LMAO! It happened to me but I'm level 128 and I saw players from Level 5 to Level 70. It was fun beating them up ;)

Good to know i'm not the only one with this. It happened right when I hit 82, so I thought I hit a rival list change in the game code. I can still rob loads of people, but it still worried me that higher levels could see me. So far so good!

I don't see what the problem is? My rivals list was a like that when I was in the 80's level bracket.

Either start building and leveling defense buildings and defense stats or lower your mafia members to a really low number (under 300).

Shouldn't it be capped from level 97 to 100 in my rival list.
When i was still lvl 92. My list only shown those from lvl 92 to 95 players.
Then suddenly 200 lvl players in my current rival list?

My list is still odd looking, but I think I figured out what happened (for me anyways). I think that the other day a lot of people must have suddenly decided that they needed to increase their mafia size to 5x their level or higher. When I look at my list I see almost everyone has a max capacity mafia, and when I go check their profiles they have another several hundred on top of what the list said they did.

All these rivals have similar stats, other than some exceptions like people who buy lots of gold (which aim seeing more of). I'm even seeing people with very very low stats and ridiculous incomes for the level they're at. Which is actually cool with me because I can fight and rob with ease.

And I haven't been robbed or attacked for two days. I'm not complaining, just pointing out something else this weird list might have caused.

The EXACT same thing happened to me when I hit level 86 a few days ago. I was in a panic. The only non level 200 on there was level 178. I think I closed out of it, came back and all was normal again.

That's the way it works at the higher levels because there aren't enough players at that level yet to even have a rival list. As more players advance in the game, the Mendoza line moves slowly upwards. It used to be that higher rivals would see you in the high 60s. Now it doesn't happen until the 90s. If the game keeps growing and people keep leveling up, it will stop happening eventually.

im level 87 and just got hit by another lvl 120, the 3rd time in 24hrs, this guy however lost 4 times straight, BWAHAHAHAH. I can only see lvl's 87,88 and some 89's.

Same to me, hard to find same levels these days, in my list all 80 - 90, only a 1 or 2 at level 100 - 105.
I'm about level 120, attacking those people often give me 1 or 2 respect points...

My rival list has also changed substantially. I'm high level 90's and found a lvl 200 with poor stats. So I robbed him/her :) That was kinda fun.

I'm lvl 79. Up untill today I've never seen anyone other than my exact level. Now I have 79s and 80s on my list. Not a big deal, it's only one above my level but it is definitely a change. (using full mafia for my lvl)

Im lvl 106 and I can see ranks 84-200! I love this! Even before this happened incould see up to ranks 200 but not as low as 84!

My rival list become insane, I'm at level 120 and begin to see level 70 in my rival list. (50 level gap)

What the point to rob/attack such low levels? Look like it's Funzio trick to force people have to buy gold weapons during this christmas.

The account at high level saw MW ads once or twice, I rarely see MW ads by this account.
The account at low level see it nearly every time it log in. Even when the MW ads can't be shown by unknown reason, the screen become dark and the whole game unplayable, I have to turn off by Home button & re-login.

Look like MW is designed for players to spend more money than CC.

I'm at level 77 now. When i hit 73 i started getting attacked by level 80's to 119's. Sometimes i win, but not usually. My rival list still only shows my level players. If i could see the higher levels, it wouldn't be so bad. Kinda sucks that they can see me but i can't see them to rob them.

Sometimes my rival list has a range of about 10 levels, sometimes it's all the same level, sometimes +/- one level...

Not that it matters though. For some reason I wasn't attacked all week (not complaining!) except for twice unsuccessfully by my old nemesis Diverman, and once unsuccessfully by another guy who I later found on the rival list and robbed his warehouse.

The one thing that I still don't like about my rival list though, is that almost everyone on there has 100+ mafia more than I do.
