Military Assault Rifle?

Where to find this? EDIT:I can confirm that on my iPod Crime City, I got the gun for getting level 3 in Modern War AND also saw the poster! However on my iPad the Crime City HD didn't show poster and I didn't get gun so it must mean if you are using Crime Ciry HD, you will not get poster or gold sales since Funzio is too lazy to implement this feature into the HD version of Crime City!

i have downloaded and it took like 5 min to get to level 3, went back into crimecity and said i was rewarded the gun.

That's not fair, I have gotten higher than level 3 in Modern War and no gun, I have Modern War HD and Crime City HD, maybe something with HD versions?

It seems you need to get to level 300 in Modern War.. people are just dropping the zeros

one of my account at level 50 saw the Modern War poster, at the same time my 100+ account see gold item poster, the higher account never see Modern War poster.
I think Funzio want CC new players switch to Modern War (as there are not many people play MW as expected) & try to keep the old players. That may relate to why some people have that gun & other don't. (new have, old don't)

Another possibility is the reward feature trigger function just been updated recently. Many of us pass level 3 before that trigger go live, so we don't have.

I downloaded it yesterday. Played it to level 2.

Decided I didnt have time to play both CC and that.

Then saw this thread so went back to it... played it to level 5. No military assault rifle for me :(

Got the big banner popup when i loaded cc today. Couldnt see what level I needed to reach becausevit was being blocked by the buy gold sign. But I think Ill stick to the m4a1...too much hastle for me to get the military item

I think you don't get the assault rifle because you need to register with your funzio ID.
If you don't have this, go to your CC menu, go to more and select Funzio ID. Register and then play Modern War. Again go to the menu and go to more and log in at Funzio ID. I got my MAR at level 3. Hope it works!

I didn't have to register, I just downloaded the game through the link they provided and it worked.

My guess is that if you already had mw installed, you probably won't get the option to get the gun. It is a promotion to get new people to the game.

Has anyone that had the game previously installed gotten the gun? And has anyone that did not have it installed not gotten the pop up?

Got it, you just have to make sure to click thru the ad on Crime City. i already had it installed so i reinstalled it, it kept my profile and since i was already at level 5 it gave me the gun when i went back to CC.

I got the poster this morning as well. I already have Modern War installed, and I'm at level 3. I just clicked on the download now button, which took me to the app store. I didn't reinstall Modern War. I reopened Crime City and had the rifle.

SO don't bother deleting and reinstalling if you already have MW; you don't need to do so.

I've gotten a Modern War banner ad 2-3 times when starting Crime City, but it looks different from the one shown here and does not mention the Military Assault Rifle. I did click through that banner to install Modern War and linked my Funzio ID shortly after installing but did not receive the Military Assault Rifle upon reaching level 3. It would appear appear acquisition is dependent on triggering the specific banner.
