Newbie question about killing my character?

So I just found this forum and it is full of great stuff. Looked over the beginer and advanced guide - wish I had seen that earlier, read the thread on camping out, etc...

Curious for some expert opinions here. Should kill off my character and start over? I am level 80 and my stats STINK. It was fine till I hit 80 and started seeing folks with 15 and 20,000 atk and def.

When I atk someone I am using 1341 equipment, for 400 mafia (max for level 80)...

Was thinking camp and get rid of some mafia members or start over?

Well you only have 2 real choices, camp or start again, both will take patience.
If you try and level up fast instead by doing mainly PVE missions, you will probably find your income holding you back, as you will have to spend a seriously stupid amount of in-game cash to complete most missions. Add to that that you will be lucky to find another player to attack with worse stats. You might find a few to rob however.

Try dropping your current mafia to something like 250 and you will see a big difference with people you face at your level. Complete all the mafia fight goals and use all the respect points to get better weapons. Also you can farm some M4 A1's and acquire many more stronger weapons.

You will find that your attck/Defense grow rapidly while building up your respect items and getting enough items for your mafia. 250 mafia would be 1000 items and then you would constantly be replacing weak items with strong ones.

That's my suggestion as its not too late to turn your stats around.

I second that....decrease your mafia and focus for awhile on increasing your income and purchasing respect weapons, and you'll turn your stats around.

If I were you, I would drop mafia down to 200 (you probably have a lot of cr@p weapons on the lower end you don't want to use), with 200, your max equipment usable is 1000 (if you also use explosives), so this would be a good level for you to rebuild from. Start building up your hood, then move onto your mafia equipment, if you have not done any of the fighting streaks, now is the time to start to build up your collection of respect weapons.
