attack defense gap

it just keeps increasing, increasing and increasing. even though i try to do events that add defense and try to avoid events that add up attack, but it just wont help.

right now i'm at 856 trillion attack and my defense is just 388 trillion. what the fish deca :(

It is absolutely ridiculous. I am 4.9 quadrillion attack and 1.6 quadrillion defense and the gap never seems to decrease.
