Level 9 machine gun?

That is one of my goals. It's currenty level 6 and I was wondering what are the upgrade prices and times? I got the price and time for upgrade to level 7. But not 8 and 9. Thanks. No stupid responses please.

i have stopped doing ridiculous upgrades and weapon purchases for quests. it's a complete waste, imho!

When I saw that goal, and the stupid green arrows hovering above my 7 existing machine guns, I promptly sold them all. There are many dumb goals. No, I am not going to build a clothing store, and I am not going to buy 8 assault rifles for $288,000.

Yeah, lol. I saved up and completed the purchase goals up until the current one, "Got a Hummer? (Buy 5 Hummers)". Oh yeah, they are $2,800,000 each. $14,000,000. Lol. I already completed one the had me buy 9 "Katana" which were $1,000,000 each. Yeah I know, what was I thinking saving and spending. Well I was curious if such an expensive goal would reward anything. Nope. Something like $12,000. Lol. Incredibly funny.


As for my defense building, I still have it, but it is still at level 1 with a big green arrow.

It will move the defense points to 92 from 72. I'll probably eventually do it when I don't have better things to spend money on. I just hate all those green arrows.

I'm in the same position as you. My income is quite high, so $271K is chump change to me, it's the time that's the real pain in the _ _ _. Two and a half days? Seriously? I have other things that need to be upgraded instead.

I agree with J.J. Defense points really don't carry that much weight unless you go crazy whereas a building upgrade is profitable because of the increase in income.

Just out of curiosity, what is your income and lvl J.J?

Why can't they just give us an option to shut off arrows in our hoods the way we can shut them off in the map locations?? I really don't know much about game development or programming but stuff like this just seems like a 'no brainer'.

We shall see. I quit doing missions 20 levels ago. Maybe when all the fight jobs are done and I get bored. Right now, I think if I bought em my stats would drop. Rather spend the dough upgrading my movie theater some more.

I completed all those quite some time ago. Both Movie theaters are level 5. Building 2nd loft. And first is level 4. Agreed to upgrade current money makers, but now I can collect close to 800,000 - 1,000,000. Every 24 hours depending on if 48 hour buildings mature that period. So you will get to the point of buying the weapons without thinking about their expense. They will not hurt stats even if your using only weapons that are stronger than them right now.

I think you may be right. I think I was awarded something for this goal as well. No sure though. I can confirm the goals after that are for items that are not requirements to complete level missions. And nothing in reward. I think like 12,000 for completing.

I can confirm this as well, you do get a bloody ak for buying the assault rifles. This info has been posted before on this forum, it's the reason I went ahead and got the assault rilfes.
