Purchasing Units

I got a lot of cash to spend. Looked to see what units I could buy to increase stats. Only one I can buy is Decorated F188
Why is that?

Sorry I might not be clear. I can buy the F188. But if I buy any other stronger unit with cash it does not count in my army. Even after recycling loads of units. However, if I buy stronger units with either gold or valor then these count in my army.

Ah, my bad, read your OP wrong, one of those 'hey idiot, try reading it again moments", my apologies.
My F188s aren't in my army either, I do see weaker units though.
The logic in this game is ass-backwards on a good day.

Ex. If you have great boost in Air and your army is only air, then you can bye other units and they want come to your army. Only air units.
