Because we have so much time and energy invested in this dumbass, bug infested game, with the hopes that it will get fixed. Even though we know it won't.
I have said it before, and I will say it again, I am getting close to bailing, which won't bother Deca in the least...

Still here, Doc. Why? Who knows; despite all the grief that comes with playing CC it hasn't stopped being fun yet. I miss the old in-game community spirit which slowly died after syndicates turned into a gold race, and the in-game chat which died after people moved to external apps. I miss when this forum was alive - even with all the trolling! Above all, I miss all the people, both friends and enemies, who've retired from the game.

It's still fun to kick a big spender's ass though! ;)

Bone Crusher I love your Avatar. It is a good symbol for this game. I started in 2012 but this camels back is broke. The lag (100 seconds of the spinning wheel at a grossly inappropriate times) has made me lose so many times I’m done. Going camping this weekend: no internet service and no cell service. Won’t start the game up when I get back.
