I've finally returned from a very long absence, only to see my thread's been locked. Oh well new thread, or a mod can unlock the previous one and merge this thread with that one.
Anyway I'm not gonna rate every movie I've seen since the last time I posted here, that would be ridiculous. Instead I'll just give you the top 20 movies I saw for the first time in 2017. All of them are 10/10s.

5. Raging Bull (1980)
6. The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989)
7. La La Land (2016)
8. For a Few Dollars More (1965)
9. Ran (1985)
10. Greed (1924)
11. The Virgin Spring (1960)
12. The Rules of the Game (1939)
13. Silence (2016)
14. 3 Women (1977)
15. Suspiria (1977)
16. Deep Red (1975)
17. The 400 Blows (1959)
18. The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017)
19. Jackie Brown (1997)
20. La Strada (1954)
Let's keep this thread somewhat active, shall we?
I won't be spamming this thread, probably just gonna leave a weekly report of what I watch (even though I literally just said to keep this thread active).
And do stay tuned for more movie related content from your favorite Crime City film critic. I'm almost done with my journey through the 1910s, which I will provide a report on and I'll also be announcing my "best of year" lists for 2017 releases soon.
