Change to Epic Boss Stats? Bug or Unannounced Change?

As title says . I can see the need for the change , as many are taking it down with one Knight on maximum stats . BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO GET SOME NOTICE !! Level 158 = 49K Hit Points ; Mini Update Download ... Lvl 159 = 169K Hit Points !!!

I take it this might be the norm from now on ? Or a major Glitch with Epic Boss again ...

[EDIT] Looks like a Bug - a Guild Member says it's got 180K Hit Points at Level 47 which can't be right ?

The new buffed EB was supposed to be a one time change for the St Patricks day event.. but they called it off.
