Players Chat on GroupMe

There has been talk in the halls that the Players Chat on GroupMe is not representative of all players. So I ask you all to pass this link on to those that feel that way. The GM room is for everyone. The only condition is to be respectful and productive. Players that only complain and/or bash other players or the reps will be banned from the room.

We want to hear you comments about the game and do pass them all onto DECA.

We have players in that room that have been around since the beginning. I have been around for over 6 years and have a pretty thorough understanding of the game and we also act as first line tech support. lol

Ya'know... I really have better things to do with my time than answer hypotheticals or speculate about things that are none of my business... nothing personal...

FWIW, from my experiences in info/helper community chat rooms, everybody has been allowed to initially join... only when the room has been disrupted has anybody been removed and that was after several warnings from the chat room hosts or other room members



If you're not in one of these community chat rooms, no worries: you've probably seen a few news updates originally posted by one of our player reps and reposted in your syndicate chat by a syn mate.

Its not hypothetical, it has happened. People get removed without warning because they either ask why something happened or a mod doesn't like them. Seen it quite a few times while I was in there. If you're not part of "the list" your opinion doesn't count.

That's not the point. The point is you have some thinking they are "the chosen few". If they are supposed to rep us, it shouldn't matter if they don't like one person in a syn or anything. Player reps are supposed to get info to all players. Not all but the ones they may have personal issues with. If they want to have it that way, they should not be a rep
