Do you think it would be OK to lie in "Global Chat" during Street Assault?
For instance, would it be ok with you if say "8th Street MFs" member Big Idiot posted "don't worry- we'll stand down if you let us take Arms Dealer" but then at the last minute took all nodes?
I know it wouldn't be OK, but would you consider it fair?

That would not be fair, if you don't want to let someone have the win, just say no. Why lie, pointless and really rude. Sometimes people are low on dps, but need that win for there goals. I understand if a person goes rouge because they didn't read a stand down post, but people need to be respectful of others, even in games. Why be rude and lie. It's just a game not your life.

Definitely a douchy move. Having said that, I never engage in global chat, nothing but trolls. Never trust a troll.

It's very simple indeed though. (1) trust nobody except your team mates, (2) if you get beaten, don't worry about it. It's a game; nobody got hurt or anything - except maybe RSI from tapping too much.

Except this game isn't based on "crime" it's based on team play, crime city is just the skin.

If you want to commit crimes go rob a bank or something.

Thanks all. I guess I should give my view.
I was not "complaining"- it's never happened to me. I suspect it happens quite rarely. I have been tempted but then I am a person of relatively low morals- yet I have not done it either. That old "do unto others" bugaboo.
For what this short thread may have been worth It kind of reinforced my faith in humanity- even those of us who play stupid games on telephones.

Point is, its a game. It's happened to me. Don't like it but what can you do? Not everyone is truthful.
