Yeah, I noticed... Happened to me last month, too, but I didn't post... Gave it another month and it's still happening...

Must be "bad luck", lol!

Hmm... Never heard of that.
Boxes drop when hitting an NPC; one does not need to kill off the NPC so I'm not sure why having to finish a level would matter. Box drops are not coded for levels.

And, I can definitly say this is not true. After not getting any boxes from using 5k+ energy with 1-click, I went to the map instead of using 1-click, completed 1/20 (easy) and did not receive a box from killing those 5 NPCs. I finally got some boxes from PvP.

Yes, crapshoot to receive those boxes/cases. Ongoing issue, as usual. SHOCKER!

This is still an issue on the fix-it list: somewhat rare and very random, but it's still happening... since they cannot recreate the issue, it probably won't be fixed any time soon.

There are other ways of getting boxes. Try doing a few PvP.
