I'm assuming the 6 hs inclusion in fl is to make the event more exciting, however was this tested before being implemented?
I only ask because the game freezes when more than 4 hs nodes are showing and the lag is almost impossible to handle
We stopped bothering with hotspots now. It's ridiculous and obviously another attempt at gold grabbing by gree.

Agree.
These hotspots prevent selection of regular nodes sometimes. And game freezes. And game crashes on droid. I have two droid devices: one works and second doesn't work with 6.6.4 and 6.6.5 versions.

Surprisingly, I am not having any crashing or freezing issues with the hotspots, although I agree selecting between a close hotspot and node is difficult at times. I have v 6.6.5 up. They need to space the nodes apart better, like in CC.
