could be... try this..

once downloaded.. go through the usual tutorial.. after that when it pops up to login to your account.. press back to cancel the screen without logging in.. then close game.. reopen.. go to settings and select Play/Game center and then login.. it will prompt that its different account to whats on device.. choose yes and reload.. should have you account loaded withou the extra account

Are u ios? On android we have to do tutorial before we can login to our google account.. try what i said.. dont login, skip that part.. then ot cant add to ur account as the new account will not be linked by logging in

If you do not login then u cant have a new account linked... u did something wrong
