Crafting Workshop Level 7

We have just released the next tier of crafting - level 7! To access this, load the latest dataset and upgrade your Crafting Workshop to level 7. You will see all new hero equipment to craft.

There are also a few (not limited time) quests related to this - just scroll down past the limited time quests to see them.

We've also increased the number of materials being given out in crates to 2! This applies to the Wanderer's Crate, Exotic Ingredients, and Alchemical Oddities. The quantities in the Materials Shipment has also been doubled.

Very nice! It looks like there's a lot of new materials that we will need. Are there any plane to offer the new materials in large quantities like then the "new" crafting started? 200, 50 and 5 crates in a box event?

Meh... In total, you'll need 10-15 items from the Alchemical crates to make one item. And that's if you're lucky and get actually get the items you require! Then there are 2 new motes that aren't even available yet. We'll need 5-10 of those as well when it becomes available.

I've noticed you stopped offering equipment in those weekly packs. I hate gambling because I usually have crappy luck. Rather just paid the $15, $30, $50 packs (which I've done many times) out right and get the item I actually want. Never have spent one gem on crates and never will.

We are considering this, as well as other options to change crafting material availability, in the future. However, we are currently collecting data and analyzing behaviors. Once we have more information, we'll consider adjusting the values and availability of materials in several ways.

Ok, while you're evaluating, crafting the top of the line Ring requires 44 Elf Grass. I literal have hundreds of the other Common ingredients, and not enough of the Efl Grass.

Keep in mind that for the lower level toons that try not to level up (not do the ILTQs), they don't have a way to get any of the new "Rare" materials except for getting luck in a box event.

Oops, you can't buy anything that has the new Rare items (Air Motes and Water Motes) in it. You can only get them from the Alchemical Oddities crates available in the box events and in the ILTQs.
Luckily for me, I've been collecting the crates form the boxes and the ILTQs for a while, and I have some of the new Rare items. The big problem, as always, is the lack of Elf Grass. You need 44 Elf Grass to craft the top of the line Artifact.

The drop rate for elf grass seems lower than the other common items , but since elf grass is the naterial we need why wouldnt the drop rate be lower - - maybe we could trade our wolf fennel for elf grass ??

Yes I see Elf grass also an issue maybe 2-10 crates if your lucky so yes maybe craft it by using the other common things but only one Gree not 10, good idea Plavine

To create a Wood Solvents we need 2 Elf Grass. Can you make a minor change to create a Wood Solvent use 2 Wolf Fennel instead of 2 Elf Grass please?

I hope you include these material boxes in other events aside from the killer/ energy hog LTQ. New format of Ltq after pushed update freezes up , a lot of server error , so must re hit monsters several times for hit to count. If using gold it's very frustrating to have to re hit a monster cause of server error. Many are refraining from LTQ simply cause too much issues. I like to craft ... So would like to see more events with these material boxes. I see the boxes are on sale in store , think it would be more enticing to buy if one can buy a rare box only including rare items. The same should be done with common and uncommon boxes...

Gree did try selling special crates with just common, uncommon or rare items. The problem was that they cost up to @ 110 gems each as I remember. I don't think anyone bought them then, and I don't think that many would buy them for that price now. 25 gems for 3 (the same price as the Materials Shipments crates would be good!

The crates were always offered. They were piggybacked with the Haste prizes for a while, so they were hard to see. In the current ILTQ they're now bundled in the level rewards, so now you don't have to hit the Haste times, you'll get them if you just complete the ILTQ.

I would like to offer a suggestion with the new data push for tomorrow it will be shot down in flames but worth a mention, yes if you had lots of unopened crates you got a big advantage with new crafting materials so how about changing the old materials in any unopened dead wood crates you can make it a lottery with either common/uncommon/rare yes I have some so do many others it would be good for the game in my opinion, you may disagree but that's my thoughts

Great idea! I've got over 300 of those pesky Dead Wood Crates. Ipassbutter, there are items that look like the new items, why don't you just change the names to something we can use. Like Elf Grass, lol

I doint think there should a different advantage to those who hoarded other crates. Just give out a bonus to everyone to help them catch up.

And please take a look at and adjust your formulas - they are not well balanced in any sense of the word.b Some rare material is near worthless. Some common and uncommon is worth way too much. Too many of the same things feed other things. ANd so many steps that many people don't want to bother.

I can ask and did lol, I'm looking out for myself I used all boxes when epic rate increased. If I did not bother and just let the boxes stay I would have had double materials and the new rare items needed and as a free mostly player I like to get as close to the gemmers with deep pockets who can spend a mountain on crates and get them all, yes it's all about me but a strategy game and I'm using strategy I think lol

I've given up with crafting now, given that it needs massive honour points to craft anything. We've had to use so much of it to buy orbs and there is little given out in quests, unless we all want to attack and become level 250 in no time, it seems rather pointless.

One of my toons needs 2 mandrake roots so he can make 2 Smithing Oil so he can make 2 Barium Ore so he can make the fifth Peacock Ore so he can craft the Dwarf Plate!
Oh, but wait, he'll need @ 300k more honor.

Let's see, we have a war coming up. The most honor that I saw on a hit was 60. 60 honor x 900 hits = 54,000. 300,000 / 54,000 = 5.5 three day wars to get enough honor from war.

Raid Boss used to give us lots of honor, not sure if it still does, but we may need that honor (and more) to buy orbs.

My best raid got 26 honor, (see the calculations for war and double the amount of time)

After this next craft, I won't have to worry about crafting anything else for a very long time, lol. Should have plenty of crates by then.

FYI the top of the line items need 1,406,250 honor to craft.

Worse, apparently not everyone had their materials removed when crafting was revamped several months ago so many were sitting with things like several peacock ores already.

While I was not one of those people, I must say Please don't remove those materials now as many have already spent them so it would create more unfairness and there is no way to tell anymore. But please give some resources out to the masses to dilute the advantage the others had. And yes, please fix the honor.

You finally made crafting relevant but you've killed it with the honor requirements. And you can't even make money off of it as we can't purchase honor. You need to reduce the honor requirements for the new equipment or dramatically increase the amount we receive during events or crafting will be irrelevant again once our honor is exhausted.

I think the honor is set making it hard to do and a lengthy process, yes we all used honor to buy those units something else will come along and we would have wished to keep that, Gree will keep throwing out honor rewards that won't help that much maybe a new reward could be honor in the 100's of tjousands I don't care as don't get the rare crates lol

I completely agree with this. I've been crafting items whilst killing time at home, but need another million honour to craft an artifact. I'm not going to attack players because I'll be level 250 in no time! Plus, I'd have to attack thousands to obtain that much honour. Is there any way that the honour requirements can be lowered, or to increase honour in prizes, or even boxes!! It always feels that everything is just out of reach, but with honour, gaining it for crafting is just relentless and for me, probably not worth doing, in its current form.

Well don't know if my game broken but I reached lvl 12 heroic way before the limit of time and got no unit and alchemy box ! I see no other boxes to collect on current Ltq . Don't know how ya want us to get hooked on crafting if ya can't get boxes aside from buying the 25 gold crate for materials. Slowly losing interest ! I have sent two tickets for past Ltq cause no drop in unit or box after completing. I'm not gonna send a ticket every Ltq ! Please moderators inform the guys up there that their Ltq are not working properly ... And to please include these boxes on other events. I'm bored of Ltq should be other events that offer these boxes as prizes . Why are they only on Ltq ????

The better crates are in the LTQ but only if you get the haste goals, I understand that the crates are returning to the Ltqs like it used to be
And not part of the haste part and that should be done shortly I believe, yes still to hard for me to obtain so would need to gem to get them so I would just buy them but I'm not so crafting is pretty much over for me lol

I have not crafted any of the new lvl 7 equipment never get rare boxes so I can never improve without buying gems but if I hoarded boxes I could have so slightly unfair however, I see lvl 8 is mentioned can you give us a time frame for lvl 8 to be released???

How about lowering the 1.4m Honor needed to craft!!! Kinda pointless to even bother crafting when ppl don't even have enough honor to craft! I had to use all my Honor for orbs that were impossible to get with maps.. this game is In need of serious improvements !

I hope it's soon, lol. I have two toons that only need a couple more Elf Grass, but need 1.35million and 900k honor to do the craft. Not possible to get that much Honor through PvP.

Many thanks for the table, I have the honor but with the lag and freezing I no can do ltqs for the higher crates I don't gem for them in box events and won't gem in war so I have no way of getting the better crates so I'm screwed also lol
