Is 500 points the max you can get from a single kill or is there a trick to getting more point? I am disappointed, not surprised, there is little to no instructions on really how to play the game. I appreciate any guidance I can get.

you need to attack people that already attacked you, to get a chain going, the more you hit each other, the more points you can get

And don't spend money on the event. No one knows if the bugs arecworked out or not, the rewards are blank so be wise.

You get 500 pts for a first strike of an opponent that had less then 3000 points. If you first strike someone over 3000 but less then you, you will get between 250 and 499. If you first strike some with more points then you you will get between 501 and 750. Vengeance attacks are a complete different story, points range from 20 to more then 5000.

This is the first coherent response on this I have run across, but my experience continues to be a little different than you are posting. I have not been getting more than 500 points when I first strike someone with more points, I've been getting the same low numbers for the 3000-up crowd. The vengeance attacks, same story. One time, I got 753 points, but that was the only deviation from the 1-500 set. The faction vengeance attacks, same story. Just got 33 points on one of them. I play on multiple accounts, and so far, it has been the same in every one of them. However, I just quit screwing with anything over 2999 points yesterday (other than vengeance), so maybe I will go back to trying this approach. Hope springs eternal!

You need to sacrifice points early on and try to get people to do vengence. If u get enough willing players, the higher the chain, the more points.
