Alliance Attack and defense boosts the attack and Defense stats for all of your units, Infantry, Magic, Machine and Beast.

They also increase your hero stats

Thank you. Then can you tell me why my attack score increases when war starts and falls when war is over?

Hi Thorbin,
you have another kind of bonus 'Conquest Attack'. This Bonus boost your Attack(units), Attack(equip) and Attack(hero) - but this bonus is only active during war. That's why your stats go up when the war starts and fall back again after war.
