Greetings Modern Warriors!
A few players have brought up a couple of issues with the current Hardcore Boss, so I'd like to address them.
1) Alexes everywhere!
We had a surge of new users on Android due to a featuring and all new players are named Alex until the name change prompt.
Most of these are accounts that were matched during the tutorial state.
Most non-participants should be taken out of the Day 1 matchmaking by next event.
2) Incorrect point displays
Points on the history don't make sense when added up.
This can be caused when your entire daily group does not actually score points during that day's window (03:00 - 02:00)
Remember: Killing a HCB at 02:00:01 or later will not count for the previous event day. Many players wait until the last second to score hits on bosses, particularly on Day 1. Be careful, if you wait just a second too long your score will not count for that day. Remember that data is not instantaneous so any lag could cause your boss kill to be registered late. The best way to combat this, for now, is to kill the boss well before 02:00.
Resolution:
The display is being worked on and should be correct by the next event. We are also exploring ways to create a little wiggle room for lag when defeating a boss just before 02:00.
