Changes need to be made to war that only the guild master, sentinel or champion can declare war as its getting rather annoying when new members or members who declare war then don't attack

We've been asking for this for a long time. Not giving commanders the ability to declare would be a start.

At the very least there should be an option for the GM to turn on/off the ability for commanders to declare. Having no ability for a commander to declare would not be be good.

Simple solution to this. If you have guild members that declare and don't attack, or only attack the gate, as soon as the event is over, kick them. Period. Make room for new members that will work FOR the guild.

This is a simple solution that addresses the issue after the fact. This does nothing for the current event which is what is being discussed.

They should import the coding they have for raids. only HC and higher can call a raid boss so they can do it for wars. But they will not because having stupid uneducated players declaring results in more gems spent resulting in more money.

Gree can make more money that way ... rogue declares push money spitters in guilds to 'make up' for it and still try to win.

If you look at that game like that, there are many features that have absolutely no sense other than to make money for Gree.
Even many 'bugs' can be explained that way, most of them seem to 'unfortunately' result in customers losing gems/armors/money.
In comparison, bugs never seem to result in players getting free stuff from Gree. Why is that?

Well, if they experience such 'bugs' that result in item losses, many customers may inquire at Gree to get a refund ... but the majority doesn't even know how to do that, or they are naive children or teenagers, or adults who got tired with their b.s. 'customer support' service, so they have given up on it.
And if even 50% of the others who complain receive a refund, it means 75% of the 'bug' related losses are written off and are yet another WIN for Gree.
