Ok Gree, what's +3% Lockbox Open Rate?

My guild just upgraded to Citadel stage 8 which says "+3% Lockbox Open Rate". Since the Citadel bonuses are full of typos ("Fight Respect" instead of "Fight Honor") we all thought that you meant lockbox cooldown.
Our boxes are not opening any faster, and when we look at our bonuses, there's a new line for Lockbox Open Rate.

What is this?
We open 3 boxes at a time now?
Another "Display Error" that should be cooldown?

Please explain this if it's something new.
If it's just wrong, please fix it.

I understood it as 3% more success rate when opening boxes, but since it was never explained my guess is as good as your guess

Since it shows up as +3 not sure how it will work but I agree it should mean a better chance at gold or free opening of a box -

Impossible to track that boost if it is a "better chance" with opens!!
It's random and we don't even know percentages so how do we know this boost works?

I'd like an explanation from gree as well. Does it increase your chance at all units equally? Or does the probability for rare/uncommon remain the same, but you have a better probability at common? Does it affect Free and gold opens equally? Does it change probability on gem openings at all? Does the bonus apply to box events AND crate events?

+3% rate would be nice if there would be any fair rate in opening boxes.
But every box event i have times where the rate is 0. 10 till 12 gold openings in a row with no success.
Tickets send, nothing changed. Openings in a row with sucess max 4 and this very few times only.
