View Full Version : No free video gems or offers work on EU server iOS/Android

Since the (maintenance?) downtime yesterday you no longer get gems for watching videos or doing offers, you can watch videos fine and it says you get the reward but you never get the gems.
This seems to be an issue for everyone on EU iOS and EU Android. A fix would be nice very soon as having to buy pretty much every single gem is not an option.

No it still doesn't work on EU. On global server it works fine but noone is getting gems from watching the videos on EU Android or iOS.
I see there is a ticket posted on the beta community so I guess they are aware.

First of all, we are NOT closing our European servers!
We are developing very well and are very happy with our player base. We are growing and developing every day, so we can state those rumors are totally false!
Regarding the first question, we have noticed there is an issue affecting the Free Gems rewards which are given out after watching video adverts or completing offers. Our developers are investigating the issue to try and provide a solution as soon as possible. We will get back to you when we have more information.

One can't help but wonder why a multi million dollar company as Gree can't afford a PR and/or Customer Relations department or if they even have one, what they're doing all day?
How difficult can it be to openly communicate with the players directly and tell them what's going on, whether by announcements on their social media channels (less favorable because many players won't see it) or right within the game in their news box. News boxes don't only need to be used to advertise new ripoff chests! It would help to keep concerns and rumors in the customer base low and explain what's going on. NOT coming up with such simple measures that would take devs 5 minutes to implement however in fact just illustrates how little Gree cares about the satisfaction of their customers. The hole business is designed as a short-term one, like a pyramid scheme that only works as long as new and uninformed people are attracted, then they're terminated.

Working again now after not having worked a couple days so guess its fixed.
