Game gone on iOS

Half the people in my syndicate lost their account on iOS says "error another device has logged in with this account" than shows level 0 everything

I'm glad that I'm not the only one. We can safely assume that it is a server issue. But that brings up a good question. Is there any way to "backup" a profile (other than backing up the whole iOs device) if there is a problem with a local device. Is a game center login already enough?
