Gree, what are you thinking? 90xp per hit on the Mummy Mage is way too much. And it's not a 100% drop rate.
One of my toons is level 250 already, so that one will get as many Rubies as he can. My other toons will skip this event.

After you get the first 10 rubies for the quest, the green arrow goes away, and the drop rate seems to hover @ 30%. (I did lose 2 due to "connection errors")

Also for the big prizes, you need to craft Epic items and units, but only Normal items and units are in the crafting building.
It looks like we need:
60 rubies
80 blood
60 red ore
To craft one of every Normal item. How are we supposed to get Epic? Craft 10-12 of each item until we get lucky?

Not happening Gree

Another quest we can Ignore

This just gets better and better!

One of my toons got the 10 rubies, but my inventory only shows 2

Wtf?

Gree what's going on?

Thank you for the feedback, XP payout has been lowered significantly so you can hammer away to your heart's content.

It's different for everyone I had a 50% drop rate so if that continues I should get 30 of each at end of the day with free regen (no refills), I have checked my units the dragon is the only thing that's makes my army and the staff at 76.5k (which will change) is the only non beast thing to craft that makes me stronger. When they change the staff nothing will improve, I can't get enough drops to craft all for epic so for me fairly pointless, I'm pleased Gree tried but it really does nothing for my personal stats but for others It can work well for you

Thanks for fixing the XP

On my level 250 I've gotten the server error 14 times, losing a ruby each time. How about fixing that?

So you get rubies from the mummy mage, but where do you get the two others from (blood and red ore ) ?
Ok, got it, just read the sticky thread....
