Keep adding to your mafia: Max=500, 5mafia per level (up to level 100) are used when you attack/rob, or when you are being attacked/robbed by a rival.

Tip: you can get $100 each visit up to 20 (or 25?) mafia friends every day to build up some money in your bank.

IMHO, it is always best to bank you money until you reach $15M IPH. Once you IPH is $15M, it costs you more to bank than you lose thru attacks.

Don't worry about being attacked or robbed: it will happen lots, and it's part of the game! The only defense against being robbed is collecting your money buildings on time. There is really no defense against being attacked because there is always somebody who is stronger than you; contrariwise, there is always somebody weaker than you!
