View Full Version : Gree, what's with the War Prizes?

War prizes are out and the rank on the prizes is very confusing.
For instance, the Hellgate Keg Cart is for rank 11-125. This used to be called top 25.

We're trying to figure out goals, and this is very confusing. Please go back to the old system.

5% Health regen for rank 126-300? In my opinion this is the most valuable prize in the next battle and higher ranked guilds can not get it? This will be funny....

indeed everyone will want to get the 126-300 reward, can GREE confirm that the rewards listed are correct?

There will be a mad scramble for top 150, lmao

Gree, I understand that you want to help lower ranked / newer players. Better add some health for top 50 also if you want peeps to spend gems.

It's difficult to motivate my guild mates to spend gems to go for top25 when the best reward is for top 125-300 - yes, the intention to help lower ranked guilds is good, but this is the wrong way I fear...

Back to the original topic. Please go back to the old ranking system. We're having trouble even figuring out which prizes we get for top 10

I think they made the rewards rather clear. If your guild ranking falls within the ranges shown, you get that prize. You will not get any other rewards above or below that range.

It is the health regen that confuses me. That is a HUGE reward for a low rank. It will be hard for RK, RP, Walord, FMB, etc to get that prize. Makes things very interesting.

We get the prize for our rank, plus the next 4 ranks

(Ignore the first number, the rank is the second number)

If we get top 10:
10. Hellgate Grindy +3% Alliance Defense
25. Hellgate Drow Ballista +2% Alliance Attack
50. Hellgate Tiki God +6% Magic Attack
75. Hellgate Battle Maiden +5% Infantry Defense
100. Hellgate Shoal Creeper +4% Beast Attack

If we get top 50:
50. Hellgate Tiki God +6% Magic Attack
75. Hellgate Battle Maiden +5% Infantry Defense
100. Hellgate Shoal Creeper +4% Beast Attack
125. Hellgate Keg Cart +4% Machine attack
150. Gauntmage +3% Magic Defense

If we get top 150:
150. Gauntmage +3% Magic Defense
175. Ravien +3% Infantry Defense
200. Abyssal Prince +2% Beast attack
250. Sky Citadel +2% Machine Attack
300. Crystalsinger +5% Health Regen

Very difficult for a t10 guild to drop down to t150. The last 3 day war the top 150 scored between @700k to 1.1m

Someone made the suggestion that perhaps there will be other Health Regen prizes for wins/streaks.
That would actually make sense.
Otherwise we will see a lot of One or two toon guilds trying to finish top 300 for the regen prize. So instead of one strong guild that gets somewhere @ top 25, you might see 7 or 8 small guilds taking that prize that was meant for a small guild. Gree, Please think this through.

Gree, a heads up would be nice!

So many of the levels overlap each other it's kinda confusing, but after further review , if you finish in the top 50 you wouldn't get the health regen. Doesn't seem fair , but maybe gree figures if your in a top 50 your health regen is fast enough .

Way gree has this listed is better imo

They said cycle or 2 ago that guilds will only receive 5 rank rewards so the new listings make that easier to tell which you qualify for when ranking

I think we should be happy that gree is finally paying attention to the smaller guilds and giving them solid prizes - I think this is a good move by them to start to build the smaller guy up . That's just my opinion

lol, this war will be hilarious. BUT if you think about it, the top guilds will probably try to stay low to get the health reward. This will give a chance for other guilds that normally finish >50 to be top 10!! I do hope Gree will keep everything as is. It's a refreshing change and actually makes the game interesting. I mean we actually need to PLAN our attacks now instead of "get as many points as you can afford."

lol.... 5% Health regen.... is it really worth to change all tactics for battle?? Will be funny - I agree with Debonair, would be nice to see that those guilds get the reward that really need it.

let's hope ranks 126-300 are not filled with 1 man guilds...

I know several guilds that are splitting into 5-6 player teams to stay low. I'm afraid we are going to be flooded by them, and the guilds who Gree was trying to help out will get shafted.

Changing the T25 prize to health regen also would solve the problem, lol

Nice, continue to screw with the little guy, force spending of gems, keep widening the gap of players. This reward made war interesting again, however by removing it gives the same crappy bonuses meaning nothing.

At least top 25 will see a nice boost on alliance A/D, but hey they are all that matters anyway, right Gree? Come out of your shell and address the issue with the seven members left in kingdom age that care.
