Can anyone confirm this rumor about Battle event?

I'm hearing this is a 3 part, 6 day battle event. So is there really another battle scheduled to start in 17hrs from now? Please tell me this is just a rumor. If its true, it sounds like a last ditch effort, by the mighty Gree, to get as much money from us as possible, before they finally pull the plug on CC or sell it to another gaming developer
