Refer a friend - Facebook crashes

Hey guys. Currently riding iOS 9.0.2 on an iPhone 4s. New to the game and playing for about 5 days. Every time I try to refer a friend, it switches over to the Facebook app, at which it will glitch out as if the phone had been rotated for landscape mode then back, at which point the Facebook app crashes. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have been scared away from updating my ios to version 9.x.x because i've been hearing all sorts of crash/freeze problems. Now until I hear that things are working fine again, I ain't downloading that update!

They have a new "9.0.1" update that is probably another way of saying "9.0.3" so downloading this might help, I heard that some people downloading the "9.0.1" iOS update resolves the problem.
