Bosses expiring at 2pm PDT but ending/exterminating goals expiring at 7pm PDT?

Thanks for the effort Gree but the bosses look to be expiring 5 hours earlier than the epic boss goals will be expiring. What's the point of extending the event by 5 hours if the bosses themselves will be screwed up?
